Softball...Linus Party...Etc...
Our softball team won one of two games today. I felt pretty good hitting. Plus, I had a good day at second base.., One and one baby! Saturday is the big Linus Blankets My Backyard Party 2007! It should be a lot of fun. Hopefully, no rain! Please, no rain. I have a goal of collecting 100 blankets on Saturday. Hopefully, we achieve that goal! I visited my father yesterday. As you may or may not know, I am throwing the second ever Linus Blankets My Backyard Party this month. Guests to this party bring blankets that are donated to children who are sick, traumatized, or just need a little sense of security. I just spent almost an hour on the phone with Martha, a lady who distributes these blankets. The stories of how these blankets impact lives are amazing. She...

Softball
My 2-13 softball team upset the first place team last night! Woo Hoo!! We are now 3-13. Yeah! Now 3-13 sounds way better than 2-14. Go Quality Carpentry!
Saw III
I just watched SAW III on DVD. It was quite scarry and gruesome.
Near Death
Last night, Shawn & I hung out with director John and Water Well Correspondant, Steve Mann. We cruised around in Steve’s Jeep and nearly tipped over on a dangerous hill. It was a close call. We are all still here today! (sigh of relief)
Sam
So last night Shawn & I went with his wife Jody to watch some comedy at Jitter’s in Minneapolis. There we ran into local comedian Sam Grittner. He introduced himself and I said, “Sam Who?” He said Sam Grittner. Apparently he has a website. www.samgrittner.com I checked out his site. Anyway, Sam’s funny…blah blah blah….His website is great…blah...
Drinks with Shawn
Shawn and I had drinks last night. Shawn had two beers and I had two pepsi colas. We also ate some pizza. It was a party pizza! Woo Hoo!
